EcoCaddy is proudly a privately-held South Australian company. Providing eco-friendly short-trip passenger transportation services and compelling outdoor media in Adelaide. We aspire to solve one of Adelaide’s biggest problems. In most cases getting from A to B in the City is just a little too far to walk and to short to justify a taxi trip. Well EcoCaddy is out to change all that!

WHAT

We will provide a unique, affordable, reliable, and fun service that allows City users to easily move around the ‘square-mile‘ and North Adelaide. Our fleet of bamboo-bodied Treecycles (hybrid-electric passenger tricycles) are operated by well-trained, fit, courteous and knowledgable local riders (Caddies).

So what’s so great about what we offer? We are faster, cleaner and more charismatic than any other form of public transport offered in the city. What gives us the edge is our unique combination of locally grown super fit and knowledgable Caddies, the unmatched safety and swiftness of our Treecycles (capable of average speeds of 20-25km/h) and our fleets legal use of city bike lanes to commute.

HOW

EcoCaddy will offer the cheapest way to get from A to B in the City! Charging a flat-fare of $5pp. will get you from tce to tce and an extra $5pp. will get you to North Adelaide. That’s just $10 to get you anywhere in the City!

How is this possible? Well it’s thanks to our proud local sponsors. Whom in exchange for sharing their brands messages on and in our vehicles, cover the cost of our riders wages and subsidise the end-users fare.

We are also very close to finishing the development of a tailored e-Hail APP. Users will be able to download and install our APP for free on their smart phone, request an EcoCaddy for pick-up, pre-define their desired destination, be notified when their ride has arrived and track their journeys.

Users can pay cash as well as a cashless pay option that will be offered in the near future. Getting around your town just got easier!

NOTES

The EcoHail APP requires mobile authentication prior to use, thats as simple as it gets, and your in.

Currently payment for service usage are transacted with the Caddy at the time of your journey.
